Delivery Costs & Shipping Information

Provided our stock levels allow - we endevour to dispatch all orders from our warehouse to begin to make its way to you within 24 BUSINESS/ WORKING HOURS of receiving cleared payment for an item - with the exception of sales periods and Christmas. During these times we endevour to have orders dispatched within 3 days of receiving a cleared payment.

* Please keep in mind that it can take between 1 to 2 business days for payment of an order to clear before we can dispatch your order from our warehouse to make its way to you.

* Please also bear in mind that we are unable to ship orders placed on either late Friday, Saturday or Sunday until first thing on Monday morning as Australia Post and Courier Services do not deliver/ operate over the weekend or on public holidays. If you place an order over the weekend, rest assured it will be on it's way to you on Monday (the next working day) from our warehouse. You will receive an email notification from us as soon as your order is dispatched.

For the majority of orders, the Hamptons House uses Australia Post as our delivery partner and our freight costs onsite are set out as per the Australia Post delivery schedule. Depending on your location, delivery domestically can take between 1 - 6 business days, or Internationally between 3 - 10 business days.

On occassion, the Hamptons House - at our discretion, will opt to use the courier service - Trans Direct Couriers where it is appropriate. This will often be the case for orders consisting of multiple items that are packaged/ boxed together. Because of the cost of cubic weight through Australia Post, it is often more cost effective in this situation to use our chosen courier service. It is also a better option for us when transporting fragile items in general.

*Please note - if you are placing an order with us that consists of more than one item, the freight fee charged may not be 100% accurate at the time of checkout due to the way we need to package your order. It can be difficult to calculate freight in this instance. If your freight fee is not accurate, you will be contacted via email and you will receive an adjusted final freight fee - or a refund of the difference should your payment have already gone through.

Delivery within Melbourne metropolitan area: Next working day
Delivery from Melbourne to other cities and large towns in Vic: 1-3 working days
Delivery between other locations within Vic: 1-3 working days
Delivery between Melbourne and adjoining east coast capitals (including Adelaide): 2 working days
Delivery from Melbourne to other capital cities: 3-5 working days
Delivery from Melbourne to other interstate locations: 4-6 working days

International
Items posted to internationally are sent via Air Mail and will take between 3 - 10 working days to be delivered. If your order is urgent in nature, we are happy to arrange quicker delivery by International Express Post which is a 3-7 day delivery (if you require this, please specify in your order delivery instructions and we will apply the additional freight to your order and inform you via email prior to processing the order.)

*The following delivery costs are indicative only, we set our freight fees by considering both actual product weight as well as the cubic weight (size) of each item as per requirements set by Australia Post.

Australia Wide Domestic Delivery Costs

When you go through to checkout with your order, there is a freight calculator tool available to show you exactly what you will pay on your order as a whole before you proceed with payment and delivery instructions. This is based on the fee schedule as set by Australia Post which uses both metric and cubic weight of items in determining the postage fee.
